Monthly Sound Bath Meditation in Royal Palm Beach — A Place to Exhale & Come Back to Yourself

Updated: Oct 31

Monthly sound bath meditation at soham yoga studio

There is a moment that happens at almost every sound bath I host. The room goes quiet after the last vibration fades out. People stay lying there with their eyes closed, almost surprised by how still they feel. I see faces soften, shoulders drop, breathing calm. And in that silence, something in them resets.

That moment is why I continue to offer this practice month after month.

For many people, this is the first time in a long while that their nervous system stops bracing. The body finally says, “I can rest now.”

What is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is not a “concert” and it is not a performance. It is a deep rest practice where your body is immersed in healing frequencies. The vibrations move through the nervous system and gently guide you into a meditative state, even if your mind is usually busy or restless.

Think of it as lying inside a soft wave of sound that helps the mind loosen its grip.

Why I Offer This Practice

When I first experienced sound as a healing tool, I didn’t understand why it worked. I only knew I walked out feeling like my heartbeat had slowed down to match the part of me that was actually peaceful. Over time, I began studying vibrational healing through different instruments and traditions. I learned to listen with my hands and with my intuition — to feel when the room needs grounding, when someone needs gentleness, or when the energy wants to open.

As a facilitator, my role is not to “do” anything to you. It is to create a safe field of stillness where your own system can regulate itself.

What Happens During the Session

You lie down comfortably, supported by blankets and cushions if needed. The lights are low. Breath begins to slow. Then the sound starts to layer in:

  • Crystal bowls for clarity and lightness

  • Tibetan bowls for grounding and body awareness

  • Ethnic spiritual instruments that create texture, earthiness, and subtle rhythm

The sounds move in cycles. Some are soft like a mist, others more resonant, like a deeper current rolling through your chest. After a while, the thinking mind stops keeping track of time. You begin to drift into a state between wake and sleep where the body can actually reset.

Benefits People Experience After Our Session

  • Deep relaxation and nervous system repair

  • Release of emotional or mental tension without “talking about it”

  • Better sleep after the session

  • Easier breathing and a calmer heart rate

  • Gentle relief from anxiety, overstimulation, or burnout

  • Reconnection with the body’s natural rhythm

You do not have to know how to meditate to benefit from this. Sound meditation does the anchoring for you.
