Hi, I'm Yani Daes!
And I'm the first permanent member of Soham Yoga Studio.

My Story
In 2013, I received news that shook my world: cancer. That day, without knowing it, marked the beginning of a profoundly important journey of my life. It wasn’t an easy path.
My body changed, my strength broke, and my certainties disappeared. Yet, in the midst of that emptiness, I found something I had never heard spoken so clearly before: my inner voice.

Illness taught me to look inward, to let go of what wasn’t mine, and to discover a strength that is born in the soul when life seems to fade. I learned that healing is not always about returning to who we were, but blooming into something entirely new.

Yoga came as a whisper that became my medicine. It gave me back my mobility, but above all, it gave me back myself. It reminded me that the body is a temple, the breath a bridge, and the present moment an altar.

SOHAM Yoga was born from that transformation. It’s not just a studio; it’s a home for those seeking to heal, grow, and remember who they are. A space where everyone can breathe without judgment, move without fear, and open themselves to the possibility of a fuller life.

My Vision

To be a beacon of light that inspires people to look inward, heal from the root, and live with presence. For SOHAM Yoga to be a meeting point for souls wishing to reconnect with themselves and with a community that supports them.
My Mission

To hold a sacred space where yoga, breath, and awareness become tools to heal the body, calm the mind, and awaken the spirit. To accompany each person on their journey, honoring their story, celebrating their steps, and reminding them they are not alone.
My Mantra

At SOHAM Yoga, we believe in transforming life from the inside out — healing the body, awakening the soul, and remembering that every moment is a gift.

The SOHAM Community

• A safe refuge: A place where people come as they are, without masks, without judgment, and feel seen and heard.
• A space for holistic healing: Not just physical, but also emotional and spiritual.
• A circle of inspiration: Where every personal story reminds us that resilience is contagious and hope grows when shared.
• A bridge between the individual and the collective: Each practice strengthens the individual but also nourishes the group’s energy.
• A conscious tribe: People committed to living with intention, caring for their bodies, and expanding their awareness.
• A home for the soul: More than a studio, it’s a place of return that reminds you who you are each time you walk through the door.
